What gets collected, who sees it, and how to make it go away.

The short version

This site shows adverts through Google AdSense, so Google and its partners set cookies and read device identifiers to choose and measure what you see. Everything else is unchanged: the live market panels fetch public prices from several data providers, and if you buy the indicator we hold your email, your order and your TradingView username, because none of it can be delivered otherwise.

The paper trading simulator saves your practice session against a random code rather than an account, no email, no password, nothing about you.

Your card details never reach us; the checkout provider handles those. Reading this page remains anonymous as far as we are concerned.

01 Who's responsible

This site is published by Ganesh Vinod Tilekar, Udgir, Maharashtra, India. Contact: tilekarganesh662@gmail.com

02 What we collect

If you are only reading, we hold nothing that identifies you — but Google does. Adverts on this site are served by Google AdSense, which sets cookies and uses device identifiers to select adverts, limit how often you see the same one, and measure whether they worked. That processing is Google's, under Google's own policies, and it happens whether or not you ever contact us. The live market panels also fetch public prices as you browse, which exposes your IP address to those providers. The full list is in the table below.

The paper trading page keeps a session, and it is deliberately anonymous. It asks for no email, no name and no password. Instead it issues a random paper code, and stores against that code a simulated balance and a list of pretend trades. Nothing else, and nothing that identifies you. Anyone holding the code can open the session, which is the whole design: we cannot recover a lost code precisely because we hold nothing about you to check it against. Enter your code at any time and it is deleted from our storage on the spot.

If you buy the indicator, we receive from the checkout provider: your email address, your name and country (for the receipt and tax), your order details, and the TradingView username you entered. The username is the one thing we genuinely cannot deliver without.

We never see or store your card number. That stays with the payment processor.

If you email us we obviously have your email. Support conversations are kept for two years and used for nothing else.

03 Third parties that see something

Several services are involved in serving this page and its live data. Each necessarily sees your IP address, because your browser talks to them directly. None is chosen to track you, and none is sent anything that identifies you, only requests for public market data.

ServiceWhat it does, and what it sees
NetlifyHosts the site and, through its own blob storage, holds paper trading sessions against their codes. Sees standard server request data, including your IP address.
Checkout providerTakes the payment as merchant of record and holds the order record. Their own privacy policy applies to the transaction.
TradingViewWhere the indicator lives, so granting your access means your username is entered there. The site also loads TradingView's chart widget script, which sees your IP address.
Google AdSenseServes the adverts on this site. Sees your IP address, the page you are on, and its own cookies and advertising identifiers. Google's privacy policy governs it, not ours.
Google FontsThe page loads typefaces from Google's servers, so Google sees your IP address.
BinanceLive price, candles and the range figures, over their public API and websocket. No account, no key.
CoinGeckoCurrency conversion rates, the all-time high and low, and chart data.
CoinPaprikaA fallback price source, used only when the others are unreachable.
CryptoCompareA fallback source for the headlines panel.
mempool.spaceBitcoin network figures. Block height and hashrate.
blockstream.infoA fallback source for block height.
Economic calendarThe release schedule is assembled on our own server from TradingView’s and ForexFactory’s public calendar data, so neither of them sees you.
News publishersThe headlines panel is assembled on our own server, so the publishers do not see you. Only clicking a headline takes you to their site, under their policy.

All of the market-data services above are called for public price and network figures only. We send them no identifier, no cookie, and nothing that could connect a request back to you. If your network blocks any of them the panels degrade quietly and the rest of the page still works.

04 What we deliberately don't do

  • No analytics of our own. No Google Analytics, no Plausible, no equivalent. Google's advert measurement is separate and described in section 05.
  • No tracking pixels of ours, and no cookies we set ourselves.
  • No real trading data. The indicator runs inside your own TradingView session, your market data, settings, results and real positions never reach us. The one exception is the paper trading simulator, which stores its make-believe balance and trades against your paper code so they survive a change of device. None of it is real money and none of it is linked to you.
  • No location tracking, device fingerprinting or behavioural profiling.
  • We sell, rent and share nothing about you. We do not pass Google any customer list, email address or purchase record — its adverts are chosen from the page and from what Google already knows, not from anything we hand over.

05 Cookies

We set none ourselves. Google's adverts do. Google AdSense and its advertising partners store and read cookies and similar identifiers in your browser to choose adverts, cap how often the same one appears, and measure clicks and views. Some of that may be used to build an advertising profile of you across other sites, which is how the advertising industry works and is not something we control.

If you are in the EU, the UK or Switzerland you will be asked to consent before any of it happens, and you can refuse or change your mind at any time. Declining means you still see adverts, just ones chosen from the page rather than from you.

You can review or switch off personalised advertising for your whole Google account at myadcenter.google.com, and read how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Two things may still write to your browser. Netlify, our host, may set a short-lived cookie for load balancing or security on some requests. TradingView's chart widget may set its own cookies when the embedded chart loads, under their policy rather than ours.

Neither is set by us, neither tracks you across sites on our behalf, and neither is used to build a profile of you. Blocking them in your browser will not break the site.

Joining a competition stores two things against it: the paper code you entered with, and a display name you choose. The display name is the only part shown to anyone; the code is used to read your simulated results and is never published. Pick a name that is not your real one if you would rather not be identifiable. Nothing checks it, and nothing else about you is asked for.

Creating a paper code is rate-limited so the storage cannot be filled by a script. Doing that needs some way to tell one visitor from another, and we would rather not keep addresses to do it: your IP address is hashed together with the current hour and a secret, and only that hash is stored, as a number. It cannot be reversed, it cannot be matched against tomorrow's, and it identifies nobody once the hour has rolled.

The paper trading page does use your browser's local storage. Not a cookie, and never sent anywhere by itself. It holds your paper code and a copy of your simulated session so the page still works with the network down. Clearing your site data removes it; the session itself remains reachable with the code.

06 Why we're allowed to hold it

  • To perform our contract with you. We cannot grant chart access without your username.
  • Legal obligation, tax rules require keeping sales records.
  • Legitimate interest. Answering an email you chose to send us.

07 Where your data goes

We are in India. Some of the services we rely on are not, so a small amount of data crosses borders.

WhoWhereWhat reaches them
NetlifyUnited StatesServer request data including your IP address
Checkout providerVaries by providerYour order, email, name and country
Google (AdSense)United States and elsewhereYour IP address, the page you are viewing, and advertising identifiers
TradingViewUnited StatesYour TradingView username, when access is granted
Market data providersVariousYour IP address, when a price panel loads

If you are in the EU or UK, these transfers rely on the receiving company's own safeguards, standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision, depending on the provider. We hold no special category data about anyone and nothing that would be sensitive if it leaked.

08 How long we keep it

DataKept for
Order and tax recordsAs long as tax law requires, then deleted
TradingView usernameWhile your licence is active
Support emailsTwo years
Paper trading sessionUntil you delete it. A daily sweep also removes codes generated but never opened after 7 days, and sessions untouched for 180 days
Competition entryUntil the competition ends, then removed with it
Abuse counterA hashed, non-reversible counter, rolling hourly and daily

09 Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

  • Tell you what data we hold about you
  • Correct anything wrong
  • Delete it, where we aren't legally required to keep it
  • Send you a copy in a portable format
  • Stop sending you anything

Email tilekarganesh662@gmail.com and we'll action it within 30 days. There's no charge.

If you're in the EU or UK, these are your GDPR rights and you may also complain to your national data protection authority. In India, these are your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act.

10 Grievance officer

India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 requires a named contact for data complaints. That is:

Grievance OfficerGanesh Vinod Tilekar
Emailtilekarganesh662@gmail.com
AddressTilekar Complex, Uma Chowk, near Babasaheb Ambedkar Statue, Udgir, Latur, Maharashtra 413517, India
Acknowledged within48 hours
Resolved within30 days

Put "Grievance" in the subject line. If you are not satisfied with the outcome you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India, or to your own supervisory authority if you are in the EU or UK.

11 Emails you'll get

After a purchase: your receipt, confirmation that chart access is granted, and occasional notices about updates or fixes to the indicator. These are part of the product, not marketing. There is no mailing list beyond that.

Anything promotional is opt-in, and every one of those has an unsubscribe link that works.

12 Security

The site is served over HTTPS and is a set of static files. Order data lives with the checkout provider rather than on any server we run, which means we hold very little to lose.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach ever affects your data, we'll tell you and the relevant authority promptly.

13 No automated decisions about you

Nothing here profiles you or makes an automated decision that affects you. There is no scoring, no segmentation, no behavioural targeting and no algorithm deciding what you see or what you pay.

The indicator does make automated calculations, but they are about market prices, not about you. They run inside your own TradingView session, and their output never reaches us.

14 Children

LATENT is not intended for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, email us and we'll delete it.

15 Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes affecting existing customers will be emailed.
